A web development company designs, builds and maintains websites and web applications for a business. That covers page design, code, content management, hosting, speed, search visibility and links to tools such as payment gateways and CRMs. Guvantic builds business websites, online stores and custom web apps, and stays on after launch to fix and improve them.
A good website does three jobs. It loads quickly on a phone, it tells a visitor clearly what you offer, and it makes the next step easy, whether that is a call, a form or a purchase. We plan every page around those three jobs.
Six types of projects we take on most often.
Company sites with clear pages for services, about, contact and case studies, written and structured so that customers and search engines understand what you do.
Single purpose pages for ads, launches and campaigns, with forms, tracking and fast load times so ad spend is not lost on slow pages.
Stores on Shopify or custom code, with product pages, payment gateways such as Razorpay and PayU, shipping rules and order emails.
Customer portals, dashboards, booking systems and internal tools with user login, roles and a database.
A new design and a better structure for an existing site, with redirects and a content plan so your search rankings are protected.
Connections to your CRM, payment gateway, WhatsApp, email and accounting software. We can also connect your site to AI agents and automation.
These are part of the standard build, not paid extras.
Designed for phone screens first, then tablet and desktop, because a large share of visitors browse on their phones.
Pages are built to meet Google's Core Web Vitals targets, with compressed images, limited scripts and fast hosting.
Clean URLs, title and description tags, a proper heading structure, XML sitemap, robots file and schema markup.
Content is rendered on the server and structured with clear headings and answers, so tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode can read and quote it.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console connected, with tracking on forms, calls and key buttons.
HTTPS, spam protection on forms, regular updates and backups.
A content system so your team can change text, images and blog posts without needing a developer.
Readable contrast, keyboard navigation and labelled forms, with WCAG 2.1 AA as the target.
A typical business website goes from first call to launch in 4 to 8 weeks.
Thirty to forty-five minutes. We ask about your goals, your customers, your competitors and the pages you need.
One to two weeks. We agree the sitemap and page layouts, then design the key pages in Figma for your approval.
Two to six weeks depending on size. We build the site, set up the content system and add your content.
Your team reviews the site on a staging link. We test on real phones and browsers and check speed, forms and search setup.
We connect the domain, move the site live, set up redirects and confirm analytics and Search Console are working.
We fix issues after launch and stay available for updates. Ongoing care is available as a monthly plan.
Each option suits a different type of business. We recommend the one that fits, even when it is not the most expensive.
| Option | Best for | Time to launch | Control | Ongoing cost | Main limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Custom build (Next.js or React) | Fast sites, web apps and projects with special features | 4 to 12 weeks | Full | Hosting and maintenance | Higher first cost |
| WordPress | Content heavy sites, blogs and standard business sites | 2 to 6 weeks | High | Hosting and plugin updates | Slows down when many plugins are added |
| Shopify | Online stores selling physical products | 2 to 6 weeks | Medium | Monthly plan and app fees | Limited control over checkout and page structure |
| Website builders such as Wix and Squarespace | Very small sites and quick launches | A few days to 2 weeks | Low | Monthly plan | Less control over speed and search setup, and hard to move away from |
A short guide to deciding between custom development and a simpler platform.
We choose the stack for each project based on what the site needs to do, who will maintain it and what it will cost to run. Common choices include Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, WordPress, Shopify, Strapi, Sanity, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Vercel, AWS, Cloudflare, Razorpay, PayU, Stripe and Figma.
Fixed scope and fixed price for the build. Support is billed monthly.
Five to ten pages, content system, mobile design, search setup and analytics. Usually 3 to 6 weeks.
Scoped after the discovery call and design stage. Most projects take 6 to 12 weeks. Quoted in writing before work starts.
Monthly updates, backups, security checks and small content changes.
Domain names, hosting, paid plugins and third party subscriptions are billed at cost and listed as separate lines in every quote.
More buyers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode for recommendations before they visit a website. We build sites so that both kinds of search can understand and quote them.
When the project ends, everything needed to run the site is in your hands.

Guvantic is a technology company in India. We build websites, web apps, AI agents and automation for businesses. This page describes our web development service.
Straight answers to what clients ask us before a project starts.
The cost depends on the number of pages, the design work, the features and the platform. Online stores and web apps are quoted after scoping. Domain, hosting and paid plugins are listed separately in every quote.
A business website of five to ten pages usually takes 4 to 8 weeks from the first call to launch. Online stores and web apps typically take 6 to 12 weeks. The timeline depends most on how quickly your team reviews designs and supplies content, so we set review dates at the start.
Choose WordPress for a content heavy site that needs quick setup and regular editing by your team. Choose a custom build when speed, search performance or special features matter, such as user login, dashboards or connections to other systems. We recommend the option after the discovery call, based on your goals and budget.
Yes. Next.js is our main choice for fast business websites and web apps because it renders pages on the server, which helps both speed and search visibility. We also build on React, WordPress and Shopify when they suit the project better.
Yes. Every site includes clean URLs, title and description tags, a heading structure, XML sitemap, schema markup and speed tuning. We also set up Google Search Console and Analytics. Ranking depends on content and competition, so we cannot promise a position, but the technical base will be in place.
Yes. We build stores on Shopify and on custom code. A store includes product pages, a cart and checkout, payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU or Stripe, shipping rules and order emails. We help you choose the platform based on your product range, order volume and budget.
Yes. We design for phone screens first and test on real devices and common browsers before launch. We also check load speed on a mid-range phone with an average mobile connection, because that is closer to what many of your visitors will use.
Yes, if it is planned properly. We list your current pages and rankings, keep the URLs that perform well, set up 301 redirects for any that change, and check Search Console after launch. Some short term movement in rankings is normal, and we monitor it until it settles.
You do. The domain and hosting accounts are registered in your name, and you receive the source code, documentation and admin access at handover. The ownership terms are written into the project agreement before work begins.
Yes, both are optional. We can set up hosting on a platform such as Vercel or AWS in your name and manage it for you. Our monthly maintenance plan covers updates, backups, security checks and small content changes. You can also take over maintenance yourself.
Yes. We set up a content system so your team can edit text, images, blog posts and products without writing code. At handover we run a walkthrough session and give you a short written guide for common tasks.
We need your business goals, a list of the pages you want, your logo and brand colors, and any existing content or photos. If you do not have content ready, we can help you plan it. A short discovery call is enough to get started, and we send a written scope afterward.
Book a 30 minute call. We will ask about your business and your goals, and tell you honestly which platform and scope make sense.
